Théâtre Hans-Otto de Potsdam

C’est d’après le modèle de l’Opera House de Sydney que l’architecte Gottfried Böhm a conçu un nouveau lieu dans l’« Arcadie prussienne », dans le parc paysager de Potsdam-Glienicke.

Avec ses toits en forme de coupes qui paraissent s’avancer sur les bords de la Havel comme trois grands bords de chapeau, le bâtiment rouge vif du théâtre, à l’architecture moderne ambitieuse, est visible de loin. L’édifice constitue un ensemble historique impressionnant dont l’architecture intègre également l’ancien moulin à chicorée et l’ancien gazomètre.
