Touchy Mob’s music is like a long marriage steeped in lyrical intensity and the cosy darkness of songwriters such as Chad VanGaalen, but one that is deeply besotted with rave riffs. Throw in a good measure of sounds picked up along the way, just like The Books do, plant a kiss or two on the Krautrock past, and put it all to a Four Tet-style marching beat.
